The Forum for Women Entrepreneurs(FWE) is the premier entrepreneurial non-profit organization for women founding and building high-growth Technology and Life Sciences companies. Our mission is to accelerate women's opportunities to start, build, manage and invest in market-leading companies. The organization was founded in 1993 by Jennifer Gill Roberts, now a partner with the venture firm Sevin Rosen Funds in San Francisco, and a core group of women entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and business leaders. FWE currently has offices in the Bay Area, Seattle, Colorado, Southern California, and Texas, with over 1200 U.S. members.
FWE is a referral-based organization with more than 40% of its membership identified as entrepreneurs running or serving as a senior member of the management team of a life sciences or technology business. The remainder includes investors, executives of later stage companies and service providers (attorneys, bankers, consultants accountants…) with high tech or life science clients.
If there are other qualified women who you feel should be included, please let us know and we will send them this invitation. If you can not make this meeting but wish to participate in the European chapter, let us know and we will inform you of the next meeting.
We look forward to seeing you on October 23rd, Contacts : Susan LUCAS-CONWELL and Jeanne PARRENT
