Founder of RARE - Respect and Responsibility, a company that advises fund managers, small and medium enterprises, governments, international organisations, business schools and NGOs oncorporate social responsibility (CSR), socially responsible investment (SRI) climate change science and policy, the ethics - science - society interface and sustainable development.

A qualified investment fund advisor, she has twelve years of experience in climate change, sustainable development policy and multilateral negotiations. She was executive director of LEAD-Europe in 1999-2000 and served as counsellor for the environment in the Swiss Foreign Affairs Department (96-98).

Prior to that, she was head of climate change affairs in the Swiss Agency for Environment (88-95).

She is the author of a number of articles on climate change, sustainable development and socially responsible investment.

She holds a Ph.D in Chemistry from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles.
