EUROPEAN POLITICAL INSTITUTE FOR WOMEN*S EDUCATION
"Institut Politique Européen de Formation des Femmes"

updated: august 2005

Moving towards a equal Republic.

"By and large, women still remain virtually absent in French political life, with less than 6% holding deputy and mayoral positions.  But in Norway and Sweden, the numbers approach 45%.

Of course, the idea of equality is progressing.  Certain parties have adopted that theme during political elections, but it*s still considered more of a novelty.  Too many politicians challenge it even though the public wants to see more women in politics.

Left to carry on by themselves, women hesitate to tread on unfamiliar territory....politics.  To help them to take first decisive step and encourage them to persevere in their struggle for a more modern democracy, I created the IPEFF.

A center for education that teaches the functions of political systems and decision-making and at the same time, women*s history-this is the function of IPEFF.
